Appearance & Fruit Traits

• Size & Shape: Slightly larger than a Hass avocado, averaging 7 to 11 ounces, with a shape resembling a fat, slightly less pyriform (pear-shaped) egg.

• Skin: Thick, slightly gritty texture with small golden-yellow lenticels (dots). It turns mostly black or dark purple-black as it ripens. 

• Flesh: Vibrant golden-yellow near the center with green closer to the skin, containing no stringiness or fiber.

• Seed: Slightly larger and pointier than a Hass seed.

 

Flavor & Culinary Use

• Taste: Rich, buttery, and delicate with a distinct nutty finish, nearly identical to a high-quality Hass.

• Uses: Excellent for slicing, spreading, salads, or eating straight with a spoon due to its ultra-creamy consistency.
